Another triumph for Malaysia! This time, Lee Chong Wei really made it through semi-final with a stunning win against Lee Hyunil within 3 games.

The first game was a tough one. Both athletes displayed a good game and showed a great desire to win the match. It was a match of endurance as it became a very close game. But it was later proven that Lee Chong Wei had the upper hand by winning the first set.

第一场比赛是场硬仗。双方都显示了场非常高水平的比赛及求胜的渴望。这场拉锯战比赛考验了双方的耐心及技术。最后，还是证明了李忠伟的厉害，他以非常压倒性的赢了第一局。

Later, in the second set, Lee Chong Wei's pace was somehow wrong. He made some unforgivable mistakes and it cost him this game set. After some advice from the coach, Lee Chong Wei bounced back with a greater momentum and finished the crucial third game in style, 21-13. Bravo!

后来，第二局时，李忠伟的节奏似乎出现了一些状况。他时时做了一些不能不能被原谅的错误，这更导致他失去了第二局。在教练的一些指导后，他反弹回来，而且以更压倒性的力量把对手宰了，赢了这场关键性的比赛。太棒了！

Lin Dan cruised into the final round in style after securing a 2-game set win against his teammates, Chen Jin. Both of the game sets were quite tough as both players are doing their very best to secure a seat in the Final. But, Lin Dan was surely stronger as he managed his game properly. He totally controlled Chen Jin's pace and won the game within 2 game sets.


Now, the much anticipated Final would be between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan.

Let's cheer for our national shuttler player, Lee Chong Wei in the Final. Malaysia Boleh!!

Yes, this time around, Lee Chong Wei didn't disappoint us, the Malaysian badminton lovers. He advanced to semi-final in just 34 minutes! He easily grabbed the first game within 14 minutes, with the score of 21-9. I happened to watch this game set in my faculty. Around 20+ people were gathering in front of the big TV in my faculty. It was quite a bad starting for Chong Wei as he was leaded 5-2, but, his composure is what brought him the final victory. He analysed his opponent's weakness and made full use of it to grab all the winning points. At this time around, Sony seemed to be frustrated, he frequently made some minor mistakes that cost him a lot. But then, Sony kept his composure and grabbed some important points to chase the game 8-10, but, it was already too late. This game was really Chong Wei's. He easily took the lead once again and was never overpowered by Sony later.

Cheers for Chong Wei. He made it to the semi final, and this make Malaysia to be able to dream of at least a bronze, or even a gold! Anyway, it is important for Chong Wei to be able to keep his performance and perform like this in the semi-final. All the best, Chong Wei.

It seems to be a bad luck for Malaysia's badminton Men's Double team. Our only hope for the men double seemed to have come to an end. With Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heng crushing out of the Quarter Final, our hope crushed as well.
