A Visit to Dentist

While I was eating noodles, I found that I have quite a nasty hole on my wisdom tooth. The first thought that came across my mind was to visit a dentist. Flashing back, it's been years since I last visited a dentist, maybe the last time was during my primary school? Not too sure. Anyway, I have to solve this problem fast, else it would cause a bigger pain in the future.

After registering my name for an appointment with the dentist, I rested myself on a bench. While looking around the room, I found that the dentist loves art. There were a few framed pictures hung on the wall, right above the pictures, there was the light shining on them, adding more beauty to the pictures.

The first picture wasn't that catchy, I mean it looked quite messy on the first look. But after gazing at it for a couple of minutes, I suddenly realised what's the meaning of the picture. It was a oil water painting on a canvas. The picture looked like a mountain which was near seaside, with clouds around the mountain tip. Nevertheless, this isn't the type of art that I like. Hence, my eyes moved on to the second picture, which was on the right beside the first picture.

Just as I was observing the second picture, the dentist called my name. I walked slowly into his room. The dentist is quite plump, a smile curved up his mouth as he walking towards me. I briefly told him my problem. He put a light to shine over my mouth, then took out his dentistry stuffs and check on my mouth. Within seconds, he found my problem, but he insisted on checking the all of the teeth before he started his surgery. Alas, he found another hole on my tooth.

In the end, he did two fillings for my upper and lower tooth. It was quite a speedy operation, and my money gone quite speedy too. It cost me a hundred bucks for these two holes on my teeth.

I should have taken more care of my teeth last time. Luckily the poor teeth still can be rescued with fillings. Else I would cry to have my teeth getting pulled out.

Nevertheless, it served as a good lesson for me. It's better to prevent earlier than regret later.

Puasa Ramadhan

It's Ramadhan now. All Muslims have to fast from sunrise till sunset.

The unique of Ramadhan is that you can see lots of temporary tents set up. Hawkers sell all kinds of things, like foods, drinks, clothes, and even magazines in the appointed locations, called bazaar. Lots of people who has just finished their work would turn in to grab some food on their way back.

While visiting bazaar in my hometown, I took a few snapshot with my phone. Here, I'm sharing with all of you. :)

cars are prohibited to enter bazaar,
but somehow some manage to slip through

A quick glance at bazaar

it's rather early, so not many customers yet

The famous Kek Lapis, only available in Sarawak

Have you visited any bazaar nearest to you yet? If not, why not take this opportunity to pay a visit. You might find some delicacies that you've never seen before. Grab this chance now, before Ramadhan ends.

I have enough!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I wrote an article on the misunderstanding that had happened between us last July. However, you, Mr Hong, seemed to have never realised any slight changes around you. Perhaps you're too self-centered, not bothered to check on others; perhaps others have changed; perhaps it's just a sudden urge and caused all this misunderstanding; perhaps...

Whatever the reason was, there's something that can't be denied. You are not that keen to keep our friendship. After that case, you've never opened your mouth and talked to me, what about friendship? Did I think too much?

Enough, I have enough of this. This can't be called friendship at all. Fine, since you are not so keen to keep our friendship, so be it. We'll walk our own path from now on, no more crossing path. I won't be appearing in front of you anymore too. Are you happy now?

Sick

some of the medicine I'm taking

This happened last week. When I wake up that morning, my forehead is quite hot. Ugh... I've caught a cold. I hate it when come to sick, I'll get all wimpy :(

Took a day off, went to the nearest clinic. Ugh.. the smell of medicine floated in the air. Always hate this smell. Made me feel sick, even though I'm already sick by the time, simply making me sicker.

Upon my turn, I entered the appointed room and saw a really young doctor. I guessed he might have just graduated from his study not too long. He asked me a few questions, then check my blood pressure and heartbeat rate. When finished checking, I went out for the medicine. Ugh... my wallet would be bleeding once again.

When I reach home, took the medicine and quickly took a nap as the cough syrups makes one drowsy after drinking it. After 5 days of rest, I felt much better. Only minimal cough left.

Sick... is really tiring, makes one weak. So, everyone should take good care of their body, so as no sickness could easily attack them.

Sean Yew
William

paiseh。

Rain

The sky has been quite gloomy lately. Dark clouds after dark clouds, they cover up the clear blue sky in split seconds, leaving no room for the sun to show his face, lightning flashes through the sky and followed by thunders roaring. Not too long later, rain drops begin dripping down, forming nice melody of nature.

Not that I dislike raining but, it refrains us from doing lots of outdoor activities. It sometimes spoils the mood, makes people tend to laze around a bit more...

Solar Eclipse

I just bought the July's edition for Reader Digest, there's a picture that caught my attention. Solar eclipse picture. No doubt, this is something big and shouldn't be missed by all means.

The details:
date: 22nd July 2009
time: 8.41am - 9.44am, peaking at 9.11am (for Singapore)

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth. As for 22nd July, it would not only be a total eclipse (the Moon will completely block the Sun), but also the longest solar eclipse of the century.

Never look into the solar eclipse with your naked eyes. Get ready your safety apparatus to witness this. :D

KL trip - visit around KL | 13th June 2009 (Saturday)

I woke up rather late today, I searched for my phone and took a quick glance at it, oh my, it's just 6.45am. It's still early, I told myself. The long holiday has made me a lot lazier, hmmm, is it a bad sign? I asked myself. Nah, never mind, just another hour, I told myself and set a quick alarm before going my hands searched for the blanket and covered my body again, sleepy eyes closed automatically.

*ring... ring... ring...* darn, my alarm rang. My right hand searched for the alarm again while my eyes are still closed. I still want to laze around a bit more. It's a beautiful morning after all. But I had an important appointment with Alan, meeting at 10am at KLCC there. I sprang up quickly, took a shower and switched on the MSN, hopefully Alan would be online. I searched through the contact list in a glance and... yes, I saw his name. I quickly opened the chat window and asked him to double confirm the meeting location. As I suspected, he's already on his way to our destiny.

After a quick preparation, both Yiwen and me took a cab to KLCC. Within minutes, we reached our destiny, Starbucks in the 3rd floor. Our eyes scanned through the place, strange, we can't see Alan there by any means. Hence, Yiwen phoned him quickly to get his location. Minutes later, he came up with his small agile laptop on his right parm, he's still surfing internet :P

We had a nice chat when the three of us met up. Then, we head off to our destiny - Aquaria. It took us quite sometime to reach there, much to my surprise. I was quite lucky, I brought along my student ID card, hence I was only charged for RM20 to enter. Yiwen and Alan were each charged RM28.

Upon entering, we saw a crowd hovering over corner. We looked at the brochure and found out the reason. A guide was explaining on the piranhas in the aquarium. A smile curved up my face as I glanced over my wrist watch. It's just nice, the piranha feeding show would be real soon. Soon enough, some fishies were put into the fish tank... and zap... within 6 seconds, all those fishies were nowhere to be seen anymore, all in the piranhas' belly. I really can't imagine how those natives in African handle piranha, especially when they have to pass a river full of piranhas.

After the feeding ended, the three of us proceed to the next station - the electric eel. This is rather interesting since it's the first time I've ever seen a real electric eel in front of my eyes.

Along the way, we saw quite a number of insects like scorpions, spiders (namely tarantula), amphibians like frogs, toads, turtles and tortoise. Not forgetting a few reptiles too.

Alan and Yiwen

After finish visiting the whole exhibition, we walked to Pavilion to have our lunch. Alan decided to try on Tony's Roma. It took us quite sometime to figure out the path to Pavilion, we somehow lost our way. Finally after asking a policewoman nearby, we found our way there.

Alan ordered sirloin steak with Miami shrimp, whereas Yiwen & I ordered Mojo Chicken.

After the lunch, we walked back to KLCC to find Wai Hong. He's supposed to finish his work by now. The four of us met up at Starbucks 3rd floor there. It's really amazing, the four of us met via internet, but we can meet up in real life. We chatted as if we're old friends for hours there.

Before going back, we went to Little Penang Kafe in KLCC there for dinner. I tested out the Nasi Lemak Penang.

By the time we finished dinner, it was already 9pm. We parted and planned to meet up again by the next day noon time in Schokolart in Mont Kiara.
